1. Who we are

Senior Homebase Florida ("Senior Homebase", "we", "us", "our") is operated by Webselenese Ltd. We are an informational and referral platform that helps families in Florida find and compare senior living communities. We are not a healthcare provider, medical facility, or licensed placement agency.

Care-needs information

When you tell us about a loved one's care needs, we treat that information as sensitive health-adjacent data. We use it solely to match you with appropriate senior living options and share it only with partner communities you consent to contact.

4. How we share your information

Partner communities. When you submit our matching form and consent to be contacted, we share your information with the senior living communities on our Partner List that you agree to contact. You can withdraw consent for a specific partner to contact you by reaching that organisation directly.

Service providers. We use LeadPedia as our data processor for lead management. LeadPedia processes your data on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement and may not use your data for its own marketing or model training.

Legal compliance. We may share information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of any person.

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

5. Our eight privacy commitments

We never sell your data to third-party advertisers or data brokers.
We share your information only with communities you explicitly consent to contact.
We maintain a current, timestamped Partner List available at seniorhomebase.com/partners.
We honour deletion requests within 30 days.
We treat care-needs information as sensitive data regardless of state law requirements.
We retain your data for a maximum of 24 months unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
We notify you of material changes to this Privacy Policy by updating the effective date and posting notice on our homepage.
We do not use your data to train AI or machine-learning models.

6. Data retention

Standard data. We retain your personal information for up to 24 months from your last interaction, after which it is deleted or anonymised unless you ask us to delete it sooner or we are required to retain it by law.

TCPA consent records. Consent verification certificates (TrustedForm/Jornaya) are retained for 5 years for legal compliance purposes.

7. Your rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Florida residents and residents of other US states may also have additional rights under applicable state law.

9. Children

Our Services are not directed to people under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No internet transmission is completely secure; if you believe your information has been compromised, contact us immediately.

11. Florida-specific notices

AHCA verification. We verify that communities listed on our platform hold valid Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) licences where applicable. Verification status is displayed on each community page and updated regularly.

Memory care disclosures (HB 493). Florida House Bill 493 (effective July 1, 2025) requires assisted living facilities advertising memory care services to provide specific disclosures. These disclosures are the responsibility of each facility. We link to facility-provided disclosures on community pages where they have been provided to us.

Senior-care referral fees. We may receive a referral fee from a partner community when a family we referred moves in. This fee is paid by the community, never by the family, and does not affect the guidance we provide.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will revise the effective date above and provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept them.
